Recovering Your Wallet After Device Loss

If you lose your phone, reinstall the app, or migrate to a new browser, you can fully restore your wallet using only your 12-word seed phrase. No Moi Wallet or Sarva Labs account is required.

Steps

1. Install Moi Wallet on your new device or browser
2. Choose Import Wallet
3. Enter your 12-word seed phrase in the correct order
4. Set a new local password for this device
5. Wait for network sync to complete — balances, history, and sub-accounts are fetched from the MOI network

All accounts derived from your seed phrase are restored. Funds remain on the blockchain throughout — device loss only affects local copies of encrypted data.

Test your backup

Periodically verify that your written seed phrase backup is correct by importing it on a secondary device or testnet environment. Never store significant funds on a device until you have confirmed your backup works.
